NEXT Generation 2024

What contribution do design and art make to a conscious engagement with our future? What positive influence does design have on our coexistence?

Possible answers to these questions will be presented by the graduates of the Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW (HGK Basel) as part of the diploma exhibition NEXT Generation 2024 from September 14–19, both online here as well as on site at the Dreispitz campus in Basel, Switzerland.

Immerse yourself in the diverse world of the graduates of the various degree programmes at the HGK Basel! You can expect: experimental and at the same time critical examinations of the urgent questions of our time as well as concrete approaches to solutions in order to shape our social future.

Graduates from all the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes at the HGK Basel listed here are taking part in the exhibition:

As part of the diploma exhibition, there will be an information event on the degree programmes (BA & MA) for prospective students at the HGK Basel on Wednesday, September 18 from 12pm. Register here.

At this event, prospective students will have the opportunity to find out more about the programmes on offer at the HGK Basel, to take a look around the studios and campus.workshops, to talk to lecturers and students and to ask questions about the degree programme of their choice.

Save the date: an additional information event for prospective students will be held on November 13—with online info slots for various degree programmes of the HGK Basel.

The Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW offers also a broad continuing education programme including an international Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) as well as different Certificates of Advanced Studies (CAS) and various Workshops with compact inputs.
