At the Art Students League of New York, students are empowered to design their own curriculum, learn at their own pace, and choose from an unmatched selection of classes in painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, and more.
There are no entrance requirements or examinations, and no previous art experience is needed to begin learning with renowned instructors including Sharon Sprung, James Little, and Larry Poons.
The League’s affordable classes take place at our historic landmark studios in Midtown Manhattan and online. Open enrollment, occurring every month, allows students the flexibility to tailor their education to fit their schedule.

About the Art Students League of New York
The Art Students League of New York has been making high-quality, studio-based art education accessible to all for almost 150 years. Founded in 1875 by a group of art students who dreamed of a place where anyone with a passion for art would have space to make it, today the League hosts more than 265 classes, which are taught in-studio and online.
