Application deadline: January 5, 2025
The call for project proposals for the eleventh edition of the PERSPEKTIVE Fund in the category of visual arts is now open until January 5, 2025.
Initiated in 2014, the PERSPEKTIVE Fund is a collaboration between the Office for Visual Arts of the Institut français Germany and the Goethe Institute. It enables the development of collaborative and transnational artistic initiatives between German and French creative scenes, thus fostering an enrichment of European dialogue. The fund supports institutions and cultural practitioners who implement bi-national collaborative projects, i.e. projects presented in both France and Germany. The projects can include exhibitions as well as conferences, symposia, workshops, and can take different forms in both countries. Participatory formats such as festivals, performances, or art educational projects initiated by cultural practitioners are also invited to apply.
From 2015 to 2024, the first ten editions of the PERSPEKTIVE Fund supported forty-five projects with over 610 partners.
This call for proposals from the PERSPEKTIVE Fund is primarily intended for practitioners working within cultural and artistic structures (museums, art centers, art galleries, art associations, etc.). However, theorists, critics, and independent, established or emerging curators based in France or Germany are also invited to apply. The main criteria is that the projects are collaborative and presented in both countries. Project submissions are reviewed by a jury of experts. The selected projects are to be realized between February and December 2025.
The team at the Office for Visual Arts is available to provide further information regarding the application conditions. We look forward to receiving your applications for the PERSPEKTIVE 2025 fund.
